Don't know about how long you should wait legaly speakingBut where I've worked it tends to be if they haven't paid up or arranged a payment plan after double the time they're usualy given to pay, then we sent a letter explaining that we would have to take legal action, give them a couple of days and then pursue it through small claims. Small claims does take a while though.
