PhonesA Phone is a very personal decision but for me I'd recommend the following depending on which OS you prefer:
OSX: iPhone is the only option here - Still can't recieve MMS messages directly
Series 60: Nokia N96 for the media features, Nokia E71 if you want a qwerty keyboard.
WinMob: HTC Touch HD for a touchscreen or one of the Samsungs for qwerty
BBOS: The Blackberry Bold 9000 for a qwerty or the Storm 9500 for a touchscreen or the girlie 8220 pearl flip if you like that sort of thing
