Heavy stuff...
...my earliest memory was playing with a boy I thought was my younger brother. Then he disappeared. I asked my parents about it when I was older and was always told that I must have imagined as I had no brothers. I always felt it had actually happened and always felt that something was missing - dreamed about him for bloody years.
I recently found out that my parents had adopted my illegitimate cousin and that they had him put into care when he was about 2 (I would have about 3) as he was "too much of a handful".
Turns out he's had a shit life - drugs, prison and now very mentally ill.
I still miss him though...
