I'd suggest buying a cheap frame somewhereAs you should be able to pick one up on the cheap that's sturdy and doesn't make stupid noises.
For the mattress I'd go somewhere proper and get a decent one. I'd recommend silentnight as your best bet for a worthwhile mattress that doesn't cost a fortune.
