There's an even better reason
which is that if you have to print these emails out, the light pink they're written in comes out as a very light grey on the black & white lasers we use, and makes it virtually impossible to read. After multiple demonstrations of this fact she still refuses to believe the truth of it.

And it's Comic Sans, for the love of God! It must be stopped! Probably with FIRE, it's the only option guaranteed to succeed.
