It's kind of strange
When it comes to videogames. I mean, the assumption seems to be that all videogames are marketed at, and soley played by teenagers. This assumption doesn't exist when it comes to the movies, does it? And, to be honest some videogames are going to be violent and such - as are some movies. If some kid watches an 18 cert movie, people go mental about the parent letting the kid watch the movie. If some kid plays an 18 cert game, like GTA or fallout 3 then somehow its not the parents fault, and we get a bunch of idiots calling for the games to be banned. Weird huh?
