Something happened a few years ago......and the universe blinked for a few seconds and we suddenly found oursleves in a not entirely unfamiliar parallel dimension. This (the Gordon Brown/Jade Goody bit) is one of the situations were you know reality is on the blink. (Other famous examples being Marathon turning into Snickers and Man Utd buying Veron, Kleberson and Eric Djemba-Djemba.)
