My phone is Orange, if it breaks they bring me a new one and swap it out for the broken one, a much better way of insurance replacements than having to send it off! Worth paying a bit more than O2 for I feel.

Edit: and also on the subject of repairs, I've just received my beloved Leatherman back from repair, after I sheared the blade locking button last week.
Four working days from sending it to receiving the repaired tool back, it's been cleaned and had all the blades sharpened, and best of all it was free under their 25 year no quibble warranty (I, or rather work, paid for the shipping there, they paid for the shipping back, seems fair enough). They didn't even ask for receipt or proof of purchase or anything. How's that for customer service?
