From the newsletter:
New question: Nativity Plays
And if you have nothing to say on the subject
then please use /offtopic rather than posting
on the main thread. Cheers."

I may stir myself out of my terminal torpor just to annoy them.
Look out for the return of the Bean Countin' Man perhaps.

We want to say it's a shit question.

...for starters I'm still at work.
Secondly, all the decent QOTW suggestions get passed over for a load of old wank. It used to be one wanky one out of three, now we're getting shit questions every week. Che doesn't post, chickenlady doesn't post, I really can't be arsed...
Thank fuck for Spanky and Pooflake taking the proverbial.
What's the point in having a suggestions page if it's just going to be ignored?

This.
Although frankly I'm amazed my string suggestion didn't get picked.

by agreeing with PJM, boring myself because I'm running out of ways to say "QOTW is now shit".
And without thinking *everything* is a conspiracy, I find it hard to believe that such a shit subject as this week's wasn't chosen on purpose. I'm almost waiting for a "kids say the funniest things" for next week's to prove my point.
There again, why deliberately fuck it up ? Is it because there is the perception that it's become /lies ? Or because the puns QOTW didn't work - in that there are still lots of tales that revolve around the punchline, rather than being true stories ? Surely if that was the case, the main offenders could be warned or restricted to one post per week ?
Whatever, the powers that be can obviously see that they are pissing people off - hence the message in the newsletter - and also obviously don't give a shit. So regardless, this is a lose situation.
Meh.
