Two eyes, two ears, and a single heart.
Their eyes are capable of seeing things humans cannot, such as where the stick would have gone had you thrown it instead of quickly hiding it behind your back.
Their ears are fair more sensitive than ours, although sometimes they act autonomously and do not tell the doggy brain that they've picked up instructions from their masters telling them not to steal food from the table.
The canine heart is full of love for their family, and beats so strongly that they are capable of firing arcing jets of acidic blood from their veins at any assailants that might hurt the family.

Pre-determine the smelliest, most disgusting things in any given area.
The heart then produces a surge of adrenaline which causes them to shoot towards it and roll like a mong on fire.
