The last yearwhen I didn't have a proper holiday, was 1994. Since then they've been getting more frequent and further away. It's not just the weather, although that helps. And it's not for physical relaxation. I spend more time tramping around the place on holiday than I do at home.
It's just the break from normal daily routine that I like most. And the geographical separation from home, for a couple of weeks.

Actually, that's a point.The last time I had a "proper" holiday was in 2007; before that it was 2002.
