Except he's started prattling on about voting for UKIP (after voting Tory since the days of the three-day week). I tried explining that

a: A few kneejerk bullet points do not make a full manifesto
b: Said bullet points are complete bollocks anyway.

Any other way I can make him see the folly of his ways?
