Ginger Pubes!
The sensitive portrayal of a number of individuals all struggling with Tourette's syndrome on BBC2 is providing some heart-wrenching moments as well as insight into how difficult every day situations can be for those affected.

I get to the point of wanting to shed a tear and then without warning the subject shouts "Fuck off!" at random intervals which sends me to apoplexy.

Am I a bad person?

Not at all
I saw "fuck off" John (as is his nickname amongst friends) in the original 80's documentary when he was 15. I distinctly remember one of his teachers showing the class how to re-pot a plant. He spilled some soil in the process to which John's response was, "STUPID FUCKING CUNT!" Still, when gardening, if I spill any compost I shout, "STUPID FUCKING CUNT" and crease up all over again. I also recorded the follow up in 2002 which introduced young Greg. Greg had me in tears - what a thoroughly top notch kid. I do laugh with them for especially John has a wicked sense of humour. I have nothing but respect and admiration for them both - and it is funny as fuck ;o)

LilGreg is actually adorable
When he's talking about being married for 89 days a year...
And then when he's not-so-little saying "Well...I do like a few people..."

But this probably makes me a bad person.

The whole way through, I was just thinking, GIVE THAT BOY SOME TWEEZERS.
Now am I a bad person?

"if you're affected by any of the issues raised in this programme, the BBC actionline may help"
That was the funniest line in the whole programme... One is expecting the phonelines to glow red hot with people telephoning the Beeb to say "I've got fucking tourette's you cunt!".

I've recorded it and will watch it later. Aptly enough, I am instead clagging pages from Viz comics on the stair walls ;o)

He just wants someone to love him : (
He made me sad.

He's a thought provoking guy
His affection is genuine. In all seriousness for a moment, I can't help wishing him well, his loneliness is apparent and tragic but he obviously has a good heart.

Just youtubed it
Cos I live abroad. I also remember the original but I was only a kid myself (about 10) so it was funny then. Watching that footage now 20 years later is heartbreaking. I just found it profoundly sad, not really that funny at all. :(

That's great! Going to work depressed now!
