I've done the LA-Emeryville beforeIt's a fantastic trip but bloody long. And the 2 hours on the coach between Bakersfield and Fresno is a pain in the arse.
Shame you're not coming, we could have had a mini-b3ta bash!

I'm 6000 miles away.Coast Starlight is the train that goes from LA to Seattle direct.
Fantastic.
Last time we did it I got off in Salinas and did a Steinbeck pilgramage. My mates carried on to LA.
Take time out and ride the Starlight. I'd do it every week if I could.
