If you asked me when I was 17 it would have been "I want to be in a famous(!) band by the time I'm 25".
Well now that I'm 24 my priorities have changed somewhat. The band dream still lives on, although I'm not bothered about fame anymore. We have faith that we can make some decent music, it's just getting the time and money to actually get together an album. Finishing that would be incredible.
I am determined to leave my current job for the city though. It is easier said than done, especially lining up an interview in a place 5 hours away. Also I fear my current employer will find out that I've been putting out C.V.s and will bust my ass.
If the band thing totally falls on its arse then I'm liking the sound of moving abroad to teach English. I've checked up on getting some TEFL qualifications and it's totally affordable. Prague would be nice.
Whatever direction I take I need a new job and I'm not really close to achieving that.

I may be able to get you signed up to my label and release an album through them for you. Are you in a progressive or ambient band?

I suppose we could be described as Guitar-Pop as much as it pains me to say it.
Although I'm after a sound more like The Jam or London Calling era Clash.

Can't really help you as my label is more of a progressive/artsy/ambient/drone label as opposed to guitar-pop/old-skool punk style.

Since you're such a kind soul I'll give your band a listen tonight when I get back from work. (well the stuff on your profile anyway).
