All this comedy talk reminds me
My brother and I have been looking in vain for about 20 years for 'The Front Line', an early 80s sitcom about two brothers (Malcolm & Sheldon), one is a policeman, the other a Rasta.

We considered this to be hysterical viewing at the time and were consequently somewhat miffed when it was pulled. Since then I've been able to find neither hide nor hair of any footage anywhere.

Can anyone help me out?

This show wouldn't have been a teensy-weensy bit racist would it?

Not in the slightest
The cast was pretty much all black and was most definitely targetted at a black audience.

It was no 'Love Thy Neighbour' that's for sure.

EDIT incidentally I don't believe that to have been a racist show either (apart from towards white Britons). The black chap (now Patrick Trueman in Eastenders, fact fans) always got the upper hand and the white fellow ended up looking like an ignorant cock. Because of the widespread use of 'nig nog', 'darkie' etc people got the wrong end of the stick like they did with Til Death Us Do Part.
