I rather enjoy The Offspring's music.
I just thought I would share that with everyone.

I liked some
but found that as they got older I liked it less.

Smash is still an amazing album

Self Esteem
Ah, takes me back.
I'll never forgive them for that Pretty Fly For a White Guy though...

I know it goes against popular opinon, but Americana is a fantastic album.
"Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace" doesn't have one bad song on it.

I agree with you.
Love Americana, it was my first proper CD purchase when I was a wee flim-flam. Huzah!

The Kids Aren't All Right is a fantastic song.
Along with Have You Ever, Staring AT The Sun and She's Got Issues.

I think The Kids Aren't All Right
is my favourite song on the album. That whole CD is full of great summer music, whenever the weather is nice I find myself searching for Offspring tracks.

They were great in Idle Hands
but not as great as Jessica Alba when her clothes got ripped off.

SCHHHHHHHHHHHHHWING!

They should make an "I agree with this" button, which puts the entire post in H1 tags.

S/T
One of the greatest punk albums ever, with 'Jennifer lost the war' being one of the finest punk songs from the early 90s

you are right
oh so right

offspring may as well have stopped after smash. some of the stuff on ixnay is great, and there are a few good tracks on some of the other albums, but the first 3 are awesome.

American punk
seemed to have its 'heyday' around that time. Bad Religion were chucking out excellent albums, Rancid had kicked off in the same way, even Greenday did some good stuff.

Then along came Blink 182, who's 1st album was great, released 'all the small things' and it all seemed to go downhill.
