Sadly...
...my auld fella died about three years ago, but I still observe the tradition of the day by having a quiet half-hour in the study with a decent scotch and a few of my favourite photos of him.

Good that you have good memories of him.
Much better than having a father you don't care for.

I have one I'm not much fussed about, and the biological one died a couple of years ago. TBH, it was a relief. So I'm not the greatest fan of the day. Has always been about pretenses for me.
