Have you ever heard of the band Mad Season?
Part AiC, part Pearl Jam and part Screaming Trees.

Got the Mad Season album, lovely and chilled out (and all PJ and a couple of Screaming Trees albums - love the grunge!)
Even though Layne's gone I'm really looking forward to the new AiC album. I manlove Jerry Cantrell.

You're officially the only person I know who has.
I'm more into Soundgarden though, but I love Pearl Jam.
Ooh, I shall have to check that out.

also comes highly recommended.
It kind of sits between Mother Love Bone and Pearl Jam. Chris Cornell provides vocals, with Eddie Vedder chipping in on a couple of tracks.

Two of the greatest voices ever on the same songs, you just can't lose.

Their album has been on my 'to buy' list for ages. Eddie Vedder + Chris Cornell = teh sex.

You could have had it if this thread was made last week. It now resides with my 15yr old cousin who is currently undering a musical education courtesy of moi.
EDIT: I have a spare copy of AiC - Dirt going free if anyone wants?

I would snap your hand off with that offer, but if my mum caught me receiving packages from someone I met on the interwebs, she'd kill me.

They are one of the few bands that I think have got more interesting as they've gone on. I find Ten a bit pompous and overbearing but loved most of their stuff after that.

Also bloody excellent but often overlooked.
And Tad - best chubby grunger ever!
I get were you're coming from with Ten. There is no denying the quality of the writing but I think VS was much better.
