I think she took it to an apple store so that's probably itI actually think Macs are bloody good and much, much better than a PC running windows.
I reckon...
Macs: Best bet for non-technical users but very good all round if you want it to "just work"
Linux: Often better if you've got the know how (or know someone who'll help you out with it)
Windows: Only use it if you absolutely have no other option
That's thinking from a home / small business point of view.
But back on topic: Macs are for gheys.
