I actually spent a lot of time in WVa in the late 1970's and actually liverd there for a couple of months in 1980(showing my extremely advanced age right now) and never had any problems. Just make sure you drive an old pickup truck, spit tobacco juice and mumble with a hillbilly accent and you will be fine. That advice is for women, males have to act a little tougher and get in fights a lot.
