One masters and one phd later and I'm living in Switzerland and being paid ~£50k a year to Fuck about with computers, measure some properties of particles no one else really cares about and read b3ta on my iPhone in the gents.

If I wasn't doing something I loved however, I'd have taken that £60k plus benefits and bonus job in London and would probably have been laid off once the recession hit.

So, I'm paid less than I could be but I'm happy. Not to mention that I've managed to dodge the whole recession bullet.
