and from a young-ish ago, always wanted to be an architect or similar - the joys of Lego - but there was a period when I wanted to do Law.
Had 6 years as a freelance sessional Lecturer on top of the Company thing, but after a while, you realise how soul destroying being a Teacher/Lecturer really is.
As for enjoying what I do, I love it. It's nice to own and run a business, and it's certainly not as easy to work from home as some people might imagine. It helps that there's two of us run the Company.

I was in Legoland a couple of years ago (my family are Danish so I end up there quite a bit), and I was in that little bit where you can just build stuff. Oh, the creations I put together. Oh, how I hoped that Mr. Lego would come in and exclaim "BLOODY HELL! Here, Hans, here is a Lego GENIUS. Sign him up!"
It never happened. :(
