I'm a Company Director and Architectural Technologist
and from a young-ish ago, always wanted to be an architect or similar - the joys of Lego - but there was a period when I wanted to do Law.
Had 6 years as a freelance sessional Lecturer on top of the Company thing, but after a while, you realise how soul destroying being a Teacher/Lecturer really is.

As for enjoying what I do, I love it. It's nice to own and run a business, and it's certainly not as easy to work from home as some people might imagine. It helps that there's two of us run the Company.

I dip in occasionally
I'm not likely to start a new thread over here for a good while yet,
but some of the topics that do get posted have kept me dipping back here more often of late.

A Lego Architect
Now that must be a great job, building the giant models at Legoland (the proper one, in Denmark). *sighs*

now THAT would be my dream job :)
bar none.

You should write a letter to Lego.
(That's the only way I can think of that you'd be able to do it...)

I was in Legoland a couple of years ago (my family are Danish so I end up there quite a bit), and I was in that little bit where you can just build stuff. Oh, the creations I put together. Oh, how I hoped that Mr. Lego would come in and exclaim "BLOODY HELL! Here, Hans, here is a Lego GENIUS. Sign him up!"

It never happened. :(
