Good money, varied work - interesting sometimes (might be off to Dubai shortly), deathly boring others (currently in a deathly boring phase). However, it can be rather soul destroying when so many assignments seem to be about "OK, how many people can we get rid of this time".

Basically, it's like contracting, but with more steady money.

When I was a little Firefly, I wanted to be a chef - and still enjoy pottering about in the kitchen, but I realised quickly that 20 hour days and (in most cases) endless menu repetition or production line prep work was not going to be for me.

Other regrets - I have a few:
- Pilot (I don't have the eyesight, but I like the idea)
- Doctor (Was too focussed on Business subjects at school)
- "Something in the city" - Wanted the money ...but didn't want to hate myself
- ...and most improbably of all, an accountant. I'm good with numbers see, and I have a horrible suspicion that I'd have been a very good accountant who might have done very well in one of the big companies, but I couldn't face the prospect at 21.
