Prove them wrong by having people in hysterics.Don't listen to TGB, or any other haters, she's being a bitch because she doesn't have the guts to do it herself.
You'll get a few "ohmegosh, you're so dull", can't please everyone, but you'll also get a few good laughs.
Seems a bit of a shame of you going through all that effort without getting any of the reward.
