I feel your painI think it's because that the old back-front-teeth is an absolute magnet for lots and lots of plaque that hardens and goes....wrong.
I /had that done to me once and it actually felt like they removed about 25% of my teeth. And it was all sharp and narstee.
/reminds himself to floss more often

Calculus/tartarDon't pick it off yourself and swallow it. It can cause blood clot 'art attack.
