dentist
You know how if something changes in your mouth, such as if you get something fibrous between your teeth that won't shift or even something like a stray whisker intrudes the corner of your mouth, and you can't leave it alone? Constantly poking at it with the tip of your tongue?

I went to the dentists this morning, a woman with what looked and sounded like a Dremel 'descaled' my teeth. after she finished, I spat out what looked like about a teaspoon of sand and blood. Clearing the scale, she's revealed a small ridge on the back of my lower front teeth which I'd not noticed before and I can't stop poking it and now my tongue's sore

Nah,
It's more like epoxy resin mixed with dirt. White dirt.

White dogpoo?
So that's where it's all going.

I feel your pain
I think it's because that the old back-front-teeth is an absolute magnet for lots and lots of plaque that hardens and goes....wrong.

I /had that done to me once and it actually felt like they removed about 25% of my teeth. And it was all sharp and narstee.

/reminds himself to floss more often

One of my favorite background channels on the telly is UKTVFood.
But they have an advert on, on every break, for some new channel called 'really', or something like that.

The advert shows this women with the grimmest set of teeth I've ever seen, it really does make me cringe, and it takes a lot to make me cringe. Why would they show that on a FOOD telivision station?

I can't watch that channel now, so it's Comedy Central's "King of Queens" day for me.

I get that too
Just eat spare ribs, pizza and mars bars for a few days.
They'll be right as rain in no time.

I had a molar extracted on Friday
my whole mouth feels different and eating is a less enjoyable experience.
