Earlier today
The latest issue of Batman arrived on my doorstep. In it Superman asks Alfred if he is okay after Bruce Wayne's apparent death. He replies

"Am I alright? No sir I am not, my son is dead"

I felt a tinge of sadness at this. When talking to my sort of ladyfriend about my tinge of sadness she informed me she wasn't coming back to mine this evening because of this.

I mean you really feel for Alfred. He did everything for Bruce, and I know he still has Dick and Damien, and Tim kind of even though he's off tryingto find Bruce convinvced he's still alive. But Bruce was the lad he brought up and treated as his own, even though he was just the family butler. It really does suck that he had to deal with all that and then face Superman, who's such a smug cunt. I hate him so much. I wish Dick had punched him with some kryptonite boxing gloves.
