I'm not sure, not being a plus size girl,but I make a lot of my own clothes and material cost really isn't relevent in proportion to the time cost.
I figure if it costs more time to make the jeans, then yeah, charge a little more, but other wise it's just bullshit. It's just making the pattern size larger really.
