Where are the companies head office based?

Its important to find out if the company is fucked or if its a different reason why they aren't able to be visible.

First actions would be:

1. Call them to see if any one answers, and how they answer

2. Check out whois to find out if the registrar of the web site is accessible

3. Fax them if you can, anonymously

4. If you remember who was in the next door office, ring them to find out where they are and whether they are still there

Apologies - I'd love to think it more cock-up than conspiracy but with the behaviours of the quasi-anonymous organisation that you've named (who have the audacity to have a recruitment page on their website) I have my antennae twitching!
