It's not the management; unfortunately it's the unsavoury combination of the academic 'schedule' which results from failing miserably atdoing a PhD and having ended up on an absolute turkey of a project, at the same time that several things have all come together in a chaotic system that resembles a midden hitting a windmill.

Eternal respect to you for working and doing a PhD at the same time though; I'd love to go back to uni and do my MA but doubt I'd be able to give it the time it deserves!

Got no projects on at the moment other than browbeating my colleague into communication :(

Sorry, I may have been a bit ambiguous there
When I said "at work" I meant "in the office in which I do my PhD." I'm not doing a proper job at the same time. (You may wish to withdraw your eternal respect at this point!) No, I'm just trying to frantically get my data to come together before I have to present it to people on Tuesday.

Ahh, I see.
Still, the fact you have to present it gives me Teh Fear on your behalf... presentations make me want to curl into a ball and cry!
