Perhaps the problem lay in the explanationI tried the simple one I gave to roota.

Either the man has a heart of stone or just truly doesn't understand geeks.
In a way, I kind of pity the fact he'll never laugh at a raptor joke.

I'm sure he understood thatBut probably didn't find it very funny. I'd describe that particular comic as interesting rather than funny.
