Not sure really, I've never heard that personally.I'm more concerned with why French women don't shave their underarms.

to match their teeth!!!LOL makes up for some of the anti-belgian jokes i've heard over the years.
did you know there are 3 main types of fondue?
1) fondue bourgignonne - meat and veggies cooked in hot oil.
2)fondue suisse - bread and suchlike dipped in melted cheese and kirschwasser
3) fondue belge - frites dipped in mashed potato...
