A cautionary tale
Those of you who work in reasonably large organisations, be very careful how you use your time on teh interweb, regardless of whether you believe it to be actively monitored or not.

I've recently escaped getting fired by the narrowest of margins, for 'flagrant disregard of company internet policy', much of which was b3ta traffic. This is despite there being no official traffic monitoring.

Which is why you only really see me at lunchtime or after 5.30 these days.

I got cautioned a while back
Ironically a fair bit of it was work-related, technical blogs and help forums. So now I browse b3ta on my phone while I'm at work.
