Its easy. Get the jack out of your boot, and find whereabouts on the underside of your car it should go. Most cars have a strengthened place near the wheel arch.

Raise the car so the tire is only lightly touching the road so it wont spin when you start to undo the nuts.

Loosen the nuts at first, when all of them are lose then unscrew them and keep somwhere safe. PROTIP: if your car has alloys one nut on each wheel will need a key to unlock it. If you don't have your key the wheel are staying put.

Pull the wheel towards you, sporting it so as not to drag it across the striations on the bolts. Put the spare wheel in its place and screw all nuts on gently before tightening them.

Lower the jack and remove it, before checking the pressure of the spare tire. Drive at no more than 50mph for a short distance then stop and check the bolts are still tight.
