Come to Northumberland if you want to see redsOr, more specifically, Kielder forest. It's the last place in England where there are relatively large numbers left.
It's almost the most remote village in England, but the surrounding countryside is spectacular. And you get the best views of the stars at night anywhere in the country because there's fuck all light pollution.

Probably, yeah.I worked on a project a few years back which was aiming to cull the greys in identified exclusion zones around the county. Seems to be working.
