Don't feel abnormal
I've never really enjoyed Monty Python either.

Bicycle Repair Man was about 30 years ahead of it's time (see Big Train.)

As for the follow-ups - I can't bear Fawlty Towers but love Ripping Yarns.

I just like the idea of lots of Superheroes unable to fix their bikes.

If you didn't like that you probably won't like Big Train, which was a UK sketch show from the mid-nineties.

A lot of Ripping Yarns
Was filmed - for reasons unknown to me - in North Bradford.

Golden Gordon (Barnestoneworth United) was filmed at Hirst Wood, Saltaire, where I quite often walk the hounds.
