Yeah,
So that'll sort 'em out.
The pet shop is gonna get a visit next week, for sure.
If our ones had it, chances are all of theirs do, so they need to be told. And I'm gonna strongly suggest they give me free stuff or money towards vet fees.
They shouldn't be selling animals that aren't well.

Good luck with that.
I got a rabbit from a pet shop once - never again - had an abscess which came up a day after I got him, took him to the vets and they said it was the pet shop's fault as he'd been treated by them a week previously with bare minimum done to keep costs down. He then developed a head tilt and had to be put to sleep one week later.

I told the pet shop and they really didn't give a shit. I wasn't trying to get money out of them, just make them see that housing different breeds together was a bad idea when they hadn't been litter mates in such a small space. NOTCUTTS garden centre in High Wycombe, Bucks are utter utter cunts of the highest order.

That's fucking awful.
I'm gonna see what I can do, not expecting to get anything, but I'm gonna register my disapproval.

On the plus side, we found out through the vets about a breeder of fancy rats in the area, so that's good for the future!

Excellent. I used to belong to a yahoo group for fancy rats when I had mine. Lost touch with them now
but there's lot of reputable breeders about. I know a girl who breeds Ruby Eyed Siamese Rex's, and Burmese Dumbo's.

The rats are the most fun pets I've ever had, so glad we got them!
Although I'm gonna be getting a Chameleon from a mate who's moving soon, which is gonna be great!

You know anything about the hairless fancy rats? Are they a bad idea?

They're wonderful aren't they? I loved mine dearly
Wear a hoodie and put monkeynuts in the hood and parker pocket bit. See how smart they are.

Nope, nothing about them. I know that most chameleons are vicious cunts though.

Yeah, this one is
A moody bastard, but I kinda like it.
Although it gave me the Fear horrifically when I was wrecked on absinthe once.

They can inflict serious damage if they're in a bad mood
very nice to look at and all, but I wouldn't want one myself.

Depends on the species.
This one's a Panther Chameleon, so not huge, but not tiny.
I've been bitten by him before, and it wasn't bad at all. Just a strong squeeze.

the same mate has a Spiny-Tail Monitor. If that bites you, you seriously know about it.

What - no 'I bought this parrot once' replies?
