Are you young?
You sound young. If youre in a position to quit work and fuck about in france near some mountains, stop fucking complaining. I dream of that shit.

Honestly
If you dont know what to do with your free time, then I get a little angry/jealous because i used to have TONS, in fact i have a little list of about 300-400 things I want to do - stuff before I die - and i have hundreds more that i've forgotten but my only free time is between 10-11pm at night, and not every night and I would kill everyone in a 100ft radius sometimes to get more time.

So my suggestion is to go back to work, and work out a list, and then quit.

I can do these and have started, but its so slow. I have to work and my other half cant get so its just me.

Otherwise heres a sample of what i want to do.

Get better at french
Learn Italian
Install a VOIP phone at home and cut my phone costs
Get better with my SLR camera and photography and be confident to generate some business from it
Organise my CD/DVDs/ into a huge sorted archive
Finish the 'stealth' secure PC I'm desiging
Learn to cook a variety of sauces without looking at the book
replace stereo in car with something ipod friendly
chase this guy for the money he owes me
get better at regular expressions
solder this thingy thing i have
sort out garage shelving
change ISP
develop consultancy working from home
build home outdoor cinema
finish woodfired, brick pizza oven in back garden
one hundred push ups
play guitar more than once a year
get next poker night sorted out for next month
get cash for holiday
setup OpenLDAP at home
buy new king sized mattress
upgrade Xbox media centre
make a secret compartment in a book for my son
get rid of this fucking iphone and stop buying shitty toys like that
do next module of forensic computing course i'm on
progress further with forensics work

and

watch the 150 films, and 800-900 tv programmes I have downloaded and got a little bit behind in.

and that mt friend, is the tip of the iceberg and just the ones i thought of in one go. Whats your excuse?

(yes i'm a geek)

Humble me...
Ok, Ok... i'll pipe down...

Getting better a French has reminded me to get off my lazy ass and better my skills... good point, well made.

Don't kill me please.

I'm just jealous
and carefully conceal it in my anger...

Love it

Evil evil, surely the most impossible things to debug - so ugly they should be in the tate modern.

I agree Coke
I'd be busy imagining what I would get up to arsing about in mountains.

I'd love to do something like that - there is just know way I could jack it all in.
