Eras
I've been to a couple of 'era' themed parties;

1980s - Good music, crap clothes and some very questionable alcoholic 'inventions'

1970s - Bad disco and everyone wandering around drunk looking like the result of an explosion in an eastern european charity shop.

But the best one had to be a 1940's themed party - think an episode of Foyles War, but with much more drinking and naughtiness. Most of us were staying in a cheap B&B up the road from the venue - so you can imagine we freaked quite a few people out as we made our way back.

Took me ages to stop saying things like 'Wizzbang' and 'Spiffing' - there's a photo of a group of the blokes all sitting in big leather armchairs, all dressed in RAF uniforms or pilot's combat gear with very large whiskey's all round.

60s, 70s and 80s
was our work do last year. Worth it only for my boss in what was to all intents and purposes a pimp shirt... and my then-boyfriend telling him so!

Just assign 'bad' randomly to one or more of music, clothes, alcohol or naughtiness and you can pick an era.
