It's a slow day
I watched rain man last night and was told not to "get any ideas". What sort of a person do people think I am?!

My haircut cycle
should be about 7 or 8 weeks.

I think it's about 7 now. But frequently I overrun, so I'm due a haircut for a significant proportion of the time.

I'm losing a bit of hair
I've not got as much as I used to, but the stuff I have still grows at the same rate. It would be better if I had the same number of hairs as I started with, but they only grew half as fast. Then I'd still have the same amount of hair growth, in total, but I'd have a full head of hair and only have to invest half as much time and money in barbering.

You can tell I'm a scientist.

some utter swine pointed out the grey in my face-stubble-beardage the other day.
we were most definitely NOT amused.

but at least i have more head-stubble than he, as i pointed out.

losing my hair is not something I have to worry about
in addition to my beard and sideburns, my hair is very close to falling into the "mop" category.
