Verrry much this.
I've lost count of the amount of times over the years when, during the summer, I've heard the tube driver say "we'll be held in the platform due to people, despite being told time and time again, continuing to be stupid."

They do get more and more sarky the longer they're kept waiting in their announcements :)

I heard a great one at bank this morning, on people ignoring the 'stand clear of the doors' message:
"For those of you with cloth ears, I said stand clear. It's survival of the fittest down here."

Ha, I had a good one at Moorgate a few days ago.
"For those of you wearing MP3 players or are deaf as a post, please let people OFF the train first or we're not going anywhere". Sure enough we sat there for a good five minutes while he had a little strop.

I really like it when they speak to the carriage like the voice of god
or do running commentaries on people who have their bags stuck in the doors.

There's a great one on the Central Line who I'm convinced is an ex-pilot.
Sometimes, if you catch him on a Friday night, he says things like "hey, wherever you're going, whatever you're doing, stay safe. We'll see you on Monday."

I like him.

We have the voice of god on the Northern line some mornings
He's very boomy and Brian Blessed-like.
