Search online for the drivers for your make and model.

Thanks, but what I mean is, I have no idea of how to set up a wireless router.
The one I have is literally plug in and go. My netgear was set up by a mate who's good with computery stuff on my last laptop, but never on this. So would I need to do anything different with it, or is it just a case of plug it in and see what happens after I've downloaded the drivers?

That'd be the first thing to try.
There's a chance it'll be plug-and-play. If not, your new ISP should be able to talk you through your setup.

I'll give it a go in a couple of months and see what happens.
Thanks Noel
