I went to bed at 3am.
Woke up at 5:15am, got fed up of staring at the walls after 10 mins and decided to get up.

Who else was up at stupid o'clock this morning?

I always get up at 5.50am.
I'd have hated it a few years ago but love it now.

I was woken up
by someone in another flat singing, very loudly like he was calling people to prayer, at 2am. I went out of the flat so I could hit him, or at least ring on his doorbell and then run away, but I couldn't find him. Leytonstone - a shitty hole in East London that really should be wiped from the map. Preferably after I've moved.

ME
I had to get up earlier than I would normally (which, granted, isn't hideously early, but still...) because the decorators are coming. I had to make sure I was 'decent' before they arrived and I also had a bit of cleaning/tidying to do.
I'm more or less on track, when the frigging toilet dies! Will NOT flush. I've been fixing it with bits of metal for ages because my landlord is dozy, but this time none of my improvised plumbing is going to help.
So I've been backwards and forwards from work to my house twice already this morning. My landlord has been next to useless (but I can't complain as they're lovely in other ways.)
I feel better now. I've made the necessary arrangements and buttered up the workies so they do a good job. Hopefully.
