if there
were only 10 albums in the whole world it still wouldn't make it into my top 9. It's mediocre to poor, at best, with 'Waterfall' being the best track.

I'm not saying it's shit, i'm just saying it is completely overrated.

edited to say - i was there when it was out originally and would frequently make trips to 'madchester' to drink in Dry and go to the Hacienda, and i thought it was overrated then.

New Fast Automatic Daffodills, on the other hand, were completely underrated. Easily the best band to emerge from that whole scene.

You are correct.

It is an insipid, appallingly-produced pastiche of insipid mid 60s jangly guitar pop. It's so utterly without merit I cannot be arsed even to hate it.

And I hate LOTS of things.
