Shockingly so.
Had three days off last week, so my inbox had erupted with useful and useless stuff, and the usual slew of moany customers. Plus I'm broke, so as opposed to a 25-minute bus trip, I had a 35-minute walk to and from work.

Tell me about it
My rent is due a few days before my salary. I pay by cheque. Often, my landlady took so long to cash the cheque that the money went out after payday, but sometimes, it would be out before. Was never sure how much money I'd have at the end of the month. But fortunately, the end of my post-new-job-spending-spree put an end to my financial uncertainties.
