One thing I find helps is that if you try and get out of bed or go to bed at the same time each day, it does help you get your sleeping-pattern back. Once it's back, I can still cope with the odd night on the town or lie-in every so often. Used to do that when I was a teenager, but the demands of a University social-life put an end to this.
Was at a friend's wedding myself recently. Hardly go to weddings, and the last wedding I went to was in fact my same friend's previous wedding.
