Rimmer is an easy costumeI just wore a red cardigan/zip up top and stuck a foil H to my head, then saluted people vigorously when I dressed up as him a few years ago. Very cheap costume, and far simpler than some I saw. suppose I could have made a badge or some sort of Red Dwarf insignia for my cardie, but life's too short.
Incidentally, it got me served very quickly when I went out after the party - having a tin foil H on your forehead works wonders.
