I was in the pub with a mate at the weekend, he'd come back from a year in Oz, with his shiny new Australian fiancée, and they were telling me that kangaroos head towards car headlights, out of curiosity, rather than running away out of fear.
So take care if you're out driving at night!

Never happened to me.I was down near Cape Schanck for a year and no Kangaroos came running towards our car. They'd just stand at the side of the road looking big and mean.
