You'll need
several tonnes of hydrocarbons, chlorine, fluorine and some catalyst.

There are several well documented processes.

I used to fanny about
with such things, but the lab I was in has been taken over by the dark side (biochemistry) and the bloke I worked with who was an expert at CFC chemistry has gone off and done his own thing. So I can't do it these days.

I still have a can at home
of 'proper' contact cleaner. With real nasty CFCs and everything.

I use some every so often just because I can.
